Tour Plan

Day 01 :
Arrival in Hanoi – Old Quarter Charm

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, greeted by your guide and transferred to hotel in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

Afternoon stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and cross the red wooden bridge to Ngoc Son Temple.

Evening cultural experience at the Water Puppet Show, a traditional art form unique to Vietnam.

Dinner with local street food favorites: steaming bowls of Pho, sizzling Bun Cha, or crusty Banh Mi.

Overnight in Hanoi Oriental Jade Hotel ( this is a small 5 star hotel but at  prime location)

Day 02 :
Hanoi City Heritage Tour (B)

Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the final resting place of Vietnam’s founding father. Explore the nearby One Pillar Pagoda, an architectural gem built on a single wooden post.

Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, dating back to 1070.

Stop at the lively Train Street, where coffee shops line the narrow tracks—sip famous Egg Coffee as trains pass within inches.

End the day with a guided walking tour through Hanoi’s bustling Old Quarter, with its maze of 36 historic guild streets.

Day 03 :
Ninh Binh Day Excursion – “Ha Long Bay on Land” (B)

Scenic 2-hour drive south to Ninh Binh province.

Boat trip through the breathtaking karst landscapes of Trang An or Tam Coc, where limestone cliffs rise dramatically over winding rivers and hidden caves

Visit the spiritual complex of Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest Buddhist temple in Vietnam, or climb up Mua Cave Viewpoint for a panoramic view of rice paddies and mountains.

Evening return to Oriental Jade Hotel

Day 04 :
Ha Long Bay Overnight Cruise (B, L, D)

Morning transfer (~3 hrs) to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Embark on a luxury overnight cruise with panoramic cabins.

Afternoon activities: kayaking among emerald waters, exploring hidden grottoes, swimming at quiet coves, and joining a Vietnamese cooking class on deck.

Day 05 :
Ha Long Bay → Fly to Da Nang (B, L)

Day 07 :

Ascend to Ba Na Hills by cable car, once a French hill station and now a mountain resort.

Walk the iconic Golden Bridge, held aloft by giant stone hands.

Explore the Fantasy Park amusement zone, flower gardens, and French Village.

Day 8 :
Fly to Ho Chi Minh City – Saigon Highlights

Flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening.

Fly to Siem Reap, Cambodia

Banteay Srei – Ta Prohm – Floating Village (B)
  • Morning: Visit Kompong Phluk or Chong Kneas floating village on Tonlé Sap Lake

  • Morning drive to Banteay Srei, a pink sandstone temple known as the “Jewel of Khmer Art.”

Visit Ta Prohm, the atmospheric “Tomb Raider Temple” overgrown by giant tree roots.
